David Holm worked as Transportation Coordinator on the 2016 sequel Star Trek Beyond, directed by Justin Lin. [1]

Holm attended the University of British Columbia and worked as production driver on projects such as the action drama K2 (1991) and the television western Rose Hill (1997). He was the transportation co-captain on the television series Police Academy: The Series (1997-1998) and transportation captain on the television series The Net (1998) and Breaking News (2002) and on the thriller Brother's Keeper (2002).

Further credits as transportation captain/transportation coordinator include the horror sequel Final Destination 2 (2003, directed by David R. Ellis), the horror film Freddy vs. Jason (2003), the comic adaptations Catwoman (2004), Fantastic Four (2005), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006, starring Patrick Stewart, Famke Janssen, and Kelsey Grammer and produced by Ralph Winter and Stan Lee), 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), The Incredible Hulk (2008), and X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), the fantasy sequel Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009), the remake The A-Team (2010), the science fiction sequel TRON: Legacy (2010), the science fiction film Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), the action sequel Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011, starring Simon Pegg and produced by J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk, Jeffrey Chernov, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Tommy Harper, Ben Rosenblatt, and Paul Schwake), the science fiction sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013, starring Dwayne Johnson), and the television series Bates Motel (2013).

More recently, he worked as transportation coordinator on the science fiction film Tomorrowland (2015, written and produced by Damon Lindelof) and the animated movie Monster Trucks (2015).
