Deborah Taylor (born 17 March 1951; age 73) is the actress who played Chantal R. Zaheva in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode "Night Terrors". She filmed her scenes on Wednesday 9 January 1991 on Paramount Stage 16.
Taylor was married to fellow Trek actor Gordon Clapp between 1986 and 1999. The couple has one son, William, born in 1991. [1](X)
She had supporting roles in the drama Lianna (1983, with Amanda Carlin) and in the drama The Brother from Another Planet (1984, with Bill Cobbs and Tom Wright). In 1987 she lent her voice to the American version of the Italian movie Le big-Bang, with David L. Lander.
Taylor then appeared in the television movies Haunted by Her Past (1987), Tidy Endings (1988), Babycakes (1989), and Children of the Bride (1990, with Conor O'Farrell and Robert Curtis Brown), the crime drama Sea of Love (1989, with Mark Phelan and John Thaddeus), and in episodes of Street Legal (1988, with Saul Rubinek) and Murphy Brown (1992, with David Doty, Paul Eiding, Alan Oppenheimer, and Jack Shearer).
Between 1995 and 1996 she portrayed Marie Medavoy, the ex-wife of Gordon Clapp's character, in three episodes of NYPD Blue, with Sharon Lawrence, Diane Salinger, David L. Crowley, Danny Goldring, Herschel Sparber, Tzi Ma, Rob LaBelle, and Art Chudabala.
Her last known work are the short film White-Collar Crime (1996, with Jonathan Farwell) and The Zeta Project episode "Lost and Found" (2002, with Marc Worden, Robert Costanzo, Richard McGonagle, Diedrich Bader, and Steven Weber).
