The Delbians were a humanoid species native to the planet Delb II. They were distinguished by facial ridges on their nose and temples.
Nellen Tore was a member of this species, and was employed with the United Federation of Planets. (TNG: "The Drumhead")

The name of this species was first derived from an internal reference document, which was circulated around the time TNG Season 5 was in production, listing a number of aliens seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
According to this document, the Delbians were given the description of "tall, thin and long-necked with multiple eye-brow type creases and not much to say."
The name was also adopted by StarTrek.com, which reiterated the aforementioned internal document, stating that she "may not fairly represent the Delbian race, she herself was strikingly tall, had eyebrow creasing, and kept very much to herself."
