Dermott Downs (born 25 May 1962; age 63) is a director, producer, cinematographer and former child actor who directed the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds second season episode "Subspace Rhapsody".
As a child actor, Downs appeared in the films Escape to Witch Mountain (1975, with Ike Eisenmann, Alfred Ryder, Lawrence Montaigne, Paul Sorensen, Rex Holman and Richard Hale) and Freaky Friday (1976, with Alan Oppenheimer) and made several TV guest appearances. He can be seen in episodes of series such as Marcus Welby, M.D. (with Norman Stuart), Shazam! (written by Rik Vollaerts), Little House on the Prairie, Out of the Blue, and Eight Is Enough.
