Diane was a Human name.

Deanna Troi was mistakenly called "Diane" by Dr. Mizan when he was attempting to flirt with her. (TNG: "Timescape")

The name was also used by Dr. T'Ana as her character name in the holodeck with Shaxs. (LD: "Room for Growth")
