Richard "Dick" D'Angelo worked in the swing gang of the art department on Star Trek: The Next Generation. He received no credit but is listed on several call sheets. Lt. Dick D'Angelo, a name seen on various computer displays and set artwork, was named after him.

Prior to his work on Star Trek, D'Angelo was the assistant property master on the 1986 drama The Men's Club. In 2002 he worked as set dresser on the drama Face Value with Tracey Walter and Michael Dorn and the music drama A Time for Dancing with Anton Yelchin and painter George Stuart, Jr.
