Dominic Ridley is a Visual Effects Artist who worked as Cyberscanning/Photogrammetry Artist for the company Clear Angle Studios LTD on Star Trek Beyond in April 2015. [1]

Between 1996 and 2000, Ridley attended Bishops College and is fluent in English, German, and Afrikaans. Between 2003 and 2005 he worked as on set production shoot coordinator for several commercials and in 2005 as client liaison on the thriller Blood Diamond.

He then worked as visual effects coordinator and data wrangler on projects such as the adventure 10,000 BC (2008), Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang (2010), the drama Shanghai (2010), Hereafter (2010), the comedy Gulliver's Travels (2010, editing by Maryann Brandon), Johnny English Reborn (2011) and Dark Shadows (2012, with Kathryn Leigh Scott), Snow White & the Huntsman(2012, starring Chris Hemsworth), Kick-Ass 2 (2013), Closed Circuit (2013, starring Eric Bana), 47 Ronin (2013), Maleficent (2014), Edge of Tomorrow (2014), and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014, with Zoe Saldana, Gregg Henry, Stan Lee, and Stephen Blackehart).

Among the projects he worked for as part of the company are Dracula Untold (2014), Game of Thrones (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015, starring Chris Hemsworth, produced by Stan Lee, and music by Brian Tyler), The Martian (2015), In the Heart of the Sea (2015, starring Chris Hemsworth), Pan (2015), Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016), The Legend of Tarzan (2016), Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016), King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2016, starring Eric Bana and produced by Akiva Goldsman), the fantasy film Beauty and the Beast (2017), and Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (2017, starring Benedict Cumberbatch).
