Donald Trump was a 21st century Human politician who served as the 45th President of the United States of America. His slogan was "Make America Great Again" or "MAGA".

His loss of the election against Joe Biden was a point of contention, where many protestors who supported him carried signs that read "audit the vote" and "#stopthesteal", while others carried flags which bore his name.

When Captain Christopher Pike shared footage with the Kiley of the events that followed the election where the incumbent Biden defeated President Trump in 2259, he explained how on Earth, America's Second Civil War "started with a fight for freedoms". (SNW: "Strange New Worlds")
