Douglas Dunning is an actor and voice artist who appeared as a background Klingon in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. He received no credit for his appearance.

Dunning studied acting at the Royal Academy of the Dramatic Arts in London and in Los Angeles, California. Dunning portrayed Sir Miles Headlock in the sports series GLOW: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (1988-1990). He also portrayed supporting and background characters in the horror film Cannibal Hookers (1987), the crime drama The Night Stalker (1987, with Charles Napier), the action film Caged Fury (1989), the horror film Fertilize the Blaspheming Bombshell (1990), the comedy Mob Boss (1990, with Dick Miller), and the horror film The Death Merchant (1991, with Lawrence Tierney).

Beside serveal leading roles in stage plays, including Captain Hook in Peter Pan, Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Richard II in Richard II, he also appeared in the horror film Hellroller (1992), the science fiction film Frogtown II (1993, with Charles Napier), the short film Whatever Happened to Oscar (2002), the adventure film Miss Cast Away (2004), and the drama Until the Night (2004).

Further credits include the Justice League episode Chaos at the Earth's Core (2005, along fellow voice performers Malcolm McDowell and Nicholas Guest), the action film The Last Eve (2005, with Chris Torres and Panuvat Anthony Nanakornpanom), the independent film Pain and Suffering (2006), the horror film Mad Cowgirl (2006, with Walter Koenig), the drama Hollywood Dreams (2006, with Seymour Cassel), and more recently the mystery thriller Black Dahlia Movie: The Elizabeth Short Story (2007) and the science fiction film Proving Ground: From the Adventures of Captain Redlocks (2008, with Kim Rhodes and Gary Graham).
