MA LD delta Warning!
This page contains information regarding Star Trek: Lower Decks, and thus may contain spoilers.

Douglas Station was a Federation Spacedock-type starbase that was administered by Starfleet under the command of Admiral Vassery. The base orbited a planet.

Ensign Sam Rutherford was stationed here at least until Stardate 56329.4 in 2379, when he transferred to the engineering division of the USS Cerritos. (LD: "Reflections")

The Cerritos visited this starbase in 2380, prior to undertaking a second contact mission with the Galardonian High Council. (LD: "Second Contact")

Ancient generation ship at Douglas Station

The station in 2380

The station was the end destination of the Cerritos where it towed an ancient generation ship that carried the crew of the wrecked USS Merced. Around the time the Cerritos departed the station, a shuttle was on maneuvers nearby.

Prior to this, the station's long-range sensors had picked up "a strange signal". (LD: "Moist Vessel")

The station was also featured in Ensign Beckett Mariner's holo-novel, Crisis Point: The Rise of Vindicta. (LD: "Crisis Point")

Later that year, the Cerritos again visited this spacedock to receive repairs following an attack by four Pakled Clumpships. (LD: "No Small Parts")

The Cerritos once again visited the station where it coordinated with the USS Archimedes, under the direction of Admiral Alonzo Freeman prior to the first contact mission with the Lapeerians. (LD: "First First Contact")

Texas class ships attack starbase

FNN report on the Texas-class rampage

In 2381, Douglas Station was attacked by three rogue Texas-class starships, the USS Aledo, USS Dallas and USS Corpus Christi, when Vice Admiral Les Buenamigo attempted to destroy the Cerritos to hide the secret of the class' AI system, which Ensign Rutherford had just determined to be dangerously emotionally unstable and liable to become hostile towards Buenamigo. The attack killed Buenamigo and numerous personnel before the Cerritos lured the deranged vessels away. Besides the Cerritos, the USS Van Citters answered the Cerritos' distress call but was overwhelmed by the ships, and former Ensign Mariner decided to intervene the moment she saw FNN footage of the rampage and ended up rallying the entire California-class fleet to help her former ship. Following the destruction of the Aledo at the hands of this armada, the Cerritos was towed back to Douglas Station for repairs and, since it had tactically ejected the previous one in an attack that destroyed the Dallas and Corpus Christi, a replacement warp core. (LD: "The Stars At Night")

Later the same year, Badgey temporarily seized control of the station after he connected his program to the Federation computer networks. (LD: "A Few Badgeys More")
