Migleemo fluffing his down
The down of birds is a layer of fine feathers found under the tougher exterior feathers.
Klowahkans were capable of fluffing their down, puffing out all their feathers so as to appear larger before a threat, though the act was considered embarrassing. (LD: "Old Friends, New Planets")
