Map of Bajor, 2401

Labeled on a map of Bajor

Ducrain or Ducrain Province was an island province in the northern hemisphere of Bajor, which included the city or village of Kran-Tobal.

In 2401, Admiral Jean-Luc Picard kept a map of Bajor's major archaeological sites in the study at Château Picard that identified Ducrain, Kran-Tobal, two archaeological sites and one shrine or historic site in the province. (PIC: "The Star Gazer")

Background information[]

This location was only mentioned in writing.

Though the island was included in a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine production map of Bajor that writer Robert Hewitt Wolfe maintained, as well as a map of Bajor derived from it by Geoffrey Mandel for Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 42), it went unlabeled until Mandel's archeological sites map created for Star Trek: Picard. "Ducrain Province" was first referred to in the novel Saratoga.
