The east workshop was a workshop aboard the Section 31 Headquarters space station, housed in a former Federation penal colony.
When Michael Burnham, Airiam, and Nhan beamed aboard the station in 2257, they passed a junction with directional signage for the east and west workshops. (DIS: "Project Daedalus")
