Ellery Alexis White is an actor and stand-up comedian who appeared as an alien trader in the Star Trek: Voyager fourth season episode "Concerning Flight". He received no credit for this appearance but was identified by the call sheets on which he is listed as "Human (M)". White filmed his scenes on Wednesday 17 September 1997 and Thursday 18 September 1997 on Paramount Stage 16.
Under his artistic names Ellery Alexis and Big El, White has been working as stand-up comedian and as member of theater improv and sketch comedy troupes. He studied with the Groundlings School of Improv and toured through the United States and Europe. He starred in the comedy show The Ellery Alexis Show and performed at The Comedy Store, The Comedy Union, and The Ice House.
White is the co-owner and founder of the production company Shire Production and developed the sitcom NorthSiders.
As an actor, White appeared in the Erotic Confessions episode "Boss's Orders" (1995) and in the short television drama Chad's World (1998, with Phillip Glasser).
