The endocrine system was a control system of glands that secrete hormones which circulate within the body via the circulatory system to affect cells within certain organs of the body. The study of the endocrine system was known as endocrinology. (TOS: "The Deadly Years")

Pa'nar Syndrome affected the endocrine and immune systems as well as causing degradation of the synaptic pathways. (ENT: "Stigma")

One of Doctor Phlox's reasons for staying aboard Enterprise NX-01 after the ship's maiden voyage in 2151 was that he was fascinated with the Human endocrine system, according to Captain Jonathan Archer. (ENT: "Broken Bow")

The same year, Doctor Phlox discovered that both, Nadet and her son Jamin, showed signs of microcellular decay in their endocrine systems and reasoned that the underground water supply of the Novans was contaminated by the radioactive debris. (ENT: "Terra Nova")

In 2371, Doctor Julian Bashir reported that Zek's endocrine system was in "terrific shape" after Quark had him perform a medical examination on the Grand Nagus. (DS9: "Prophet Motive")

In 3189, an atomic scan was performed on the endrocrine/nervous system system of Philippa Georgiou. The results of the scan revealed that her aldosterone (supine) was 15 nanograms per deciliters (ng/dl} and her cortisol was 14 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dl). (DIS: "The Sanctuary")
