Eric Steinberg (born 26 August 1969; age 54) is the actor who played Paul Porter in Star Trek: First Contact, and the Ankari captain in the Star Trek: Voyager sixth season episode "Equinox, Part II".

Steinberg was reportedly also the runner-up for the role of Harry Kim, as noted by Garrett Wang in The Delta Flyers podcast episode for "Equinox, Part II". [1]

Steinberg's earliest known television work was a guest appearance in an episode of Babylon 5, starring fellow Trek guest performers Andreas Katsulas and Bill Mumy. Other TV shows he has appeared on include Martin, V.I.P., Pacific Blue, CSI: Miami, Charmed, NCIS, Stargate SG-1 (with Robert Picardo, Tony Amendola, Rudolf Martin and Joey Aresco), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Pretty Little Liars and Torchwood.

Steinberg also appeared in Dogwatch (1996, starring Star Trek: The Next Generation guest actor Paul Sorvino). Other film credits include the drama Finding Madison (2008, with Don Most and still photography by Kyla Kuhner).
