Erwin H. Kupitz (born 15 June 1962; age 61) is a Hollywood wig maker within the hair department who worked on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek.

Outside of his work on Star Trek, Kupitz received two Emmy Award nominations. The first in the category Outstanding Individual Achievement in Hairstyling for a Miniseries or a Special in 1995 for the television comedy In Search of Dr. Seuss, shared with Danny Valencia, and the second in the category Outstanding Makeup for a Series in 1999 for the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, shared with Todd McIntosh, Craig Reardon, John Maldonado, and Ed French.

Beside his work on Star Trek, Kupitz worked as wig and beard designer on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Profiler, and Six Feet Under. His feature film credits include Forrest Gump (1994), Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995), Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997), Titanic (1997), The Mask of Zorro (1998), The Thirteenth Floor (1998), Gone in 60 Seconds (2000), The Cell (2000), Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002), Gangs of New York (2002), Chicago (2002), Catch Me If You Can (2002), Starsky & Hutch (2004), Sin City (2005), The Pink Panther (2006), Babylon A.D. (2008), Obsessed (2009), and Jonah Hex (2010).

More recently he worked on Limitless (2011), A Dangerous Method (2011), and Hannah Arendt (2012).
