Farian Language Console — The Farian written language

The Farians were a humanoid species native to the planet Farius Prime.

Physiologically, Farians had a quite similar external appearance to Humans except for a rising ridge that went from their nose to the top of their forehead.

In the late 24th century, the Orion Syndicate had established a presence on the Farian homeworld and several Farians, such as Raimus, Flith, and Thadial Bokar were members of the Syndicate. At the same time, some female Farians were involved in the business of prostitution.

The Farians maintained diplomatic relations with the Klingon Empire, which maintained an embassy on Farius Prime.

As of 2374, the Farians still used paper money. (DS9: "Honor Among Thieves", "Prodigal Daughter")

The term Farian was not used in dialogue, but comes from the scripts of "Honor Among Thieves" and "Prodigal Daughter".
