Hester Dealt on duty in the Federation Medical Collection Station
The Federation Medical Collection Station was an outpost that specialized in medicine. This type of outpost facilitated the retrieval and storage of samples of diseases, including plasma plagues. Because of the sensitive nature of the outpost's work, there were Starfleet personnel who worked at the post under the supervision of a ranking individual known as a medical trustee.
In 2365, the USS Enterprise-D visited the Federation Medical Collection Station on 'aucdet IX. There, the starship took on a cargo of samples of plasma plague for transit to Science Station Tango Sierra. Dr. Hester Dealt, medical trustee for 'aucdet, accompanied the cargo. (TNG: "The Child")
