Bajoran interceptors over Bajor

In pursuit of a Bajoran raider

These two interceptors, operated by Bajorans loyal to the Alliance for Global Unity, pursued a Bajoran raider, piloted by Kira Nerys and Jadzia Dax, in an attempt to intercept the raider before Kira and Dax could reach the Bajoran Provisional Government to reveal the truth behind the coup. While pursuing the raider, the interceptors were forced into Bajor's atmosphere, where one of the ships was shot down by the raider, before the second interceptor was able to bring down its objective. (DS9: "The Siege")

Maquis[]

Several of these interceptors were appropriated by the Maquis, using them as attack fighters during their insurrection against the Cardassian Union.

One of these engagements was an attack on the Cardassian cruiser Vetar, the ship sustained heavy damage before the attackers were driven off by the arrival of the USS Enterprise-D. Later a force of ten ships, including three interceptors, were committed to attacking a Yridian convoy that was traveling along the DMZ. (TNG: "Preemptive Strike")

This Maquis squadron containing Bajoran interceptors among other ships was said to consist of Federation starships emitting Federation warp signatures. This suggests some of these interceptors were owned by Federation colonists and were possibly refitted with warp drives.

DS9 patrols 1[]

These two interceptors flew by Deep Space 9 in 2372 while the IKS Drovana was docked on the station's upper docking pylon. (DS9: "Sons of Mogh")

DS9 patrols 2[]

Two of these interceptors were often patrolling near Deep Space 9 during the 2370s.

They were in the vicinity of DS9 on several occasions during 2372, including while Akorem Laan was on board (DS9: "Accession"); during Worf's trial (DS9: "Rules of Engagement"); following Miles O'Brien's return from his prison sentence on Argratha (DS9: "Hard Time"); during Lwaxana Troi's visit to the station (DS9: "The Muse"); and following Doctor Julian Bashir's return from the Teplan homeworld. (DS9: "The Quickening")

Impulse ships []

Approximately four of these impulse ships, including a command ship commanded by Colonel Kira Nerys, were part of the Bajoran blockade of their moon Derna, in order to prevent a hospital located there from being supplied with weapons by several Romulan warbirds. Kira successfully bluffed being willing to actually fight, which eventually convinced Admiral William Ross to force the Romulans to withdraw. (DS9: "Shadows and Symbols")
