Profile of equatorial islands
The equatorial islands were a series of islands located near the equator of the Loque'eque homeworld. Under the surface of these islands was located the Loque'eque capital city of Urquat. Overall, these islands were covered with jungle and had a tropical climate.
These islands were of particular interest to the crew of Enterprise in 2153, following the detection of a metallic object there, later determined to be a Xindi landing craft.
Upon transporting down to the surface, they discovered the islands to be the site where several humanoids, who had been mutated into Loque'eque, had been incinerated. (ENT: "Extinction")
