Civilians []

These civilians observed the hearing of Soren in the civic chamber and were present when Commander Riker tried to stop the trial and to protect Soren. (TNG: "The Outcast")

All J'naii civilians were played by background performers who received no credit for their appearance.

Three of their costumes were sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] [2] [3]

The costume worn by Holiday Freeman was later worn by actress Julie Plum as an alien customer in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Fair Trade".

Guards []

These two guards served during the hearing of Soren in the civic chamber on the planet J'naii in 2368. They arrested Soren and took Soren into custody after the guilty conviction by Noor. When Commander Riker and Lieutenant Worf tried to rescue Soren these two guards in the park outside of the civic chamber. Both were knocked unconscious and Commander Riker ran away with Soren only to discover that the treatment had already been given. (TNG: "The Outcast")

Both guards were played by stunt performers who received no credit for their appearance.

Their costumes were sold off as a lot on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay and were later re-used in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. [4] [5]

Judges []

These two judges assisted Noor during the hearing of Soren in the civic chamber in which Soren was accused of perversion by considering themself female, a crime in the J'naii society. (TNG: "The Outcast")

Both J'naii were portrayed by background performers who received no credit for their appearance.

The costume worn by the first one was later worn by background actress Pam Blackwell in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Critical Care".

Leaders []

These J'naii, Noor, and Krite, formed the leadership of the planet J'naii in 2368. They received help from the Federation when one of their shuttles disappeared. During the investigations four of them visited the Enterprise-D and worked with the Starfleet officers on the bridge. Later, they were briefed by Soren and Commander Riker in their civic chamber and were told about the null space pocket. After the mission was successfully completed and the J'naii shuttle pilots were brought back, they watched the hearing of Soren, led by Noor. (TNG: "The Outcast")

Two costumes were sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay, the one worn by Laura Granick [8] and the one worn by the fourth pictured actress. [9]

Pilots []

These two pilots were aboard the J'naii shuttle Taris Murn when it got trapped in a pocket of null space. They were unconscious and rescued by Soren and Commander William T. Riker who beamed them first aboard the Federation shuttle Magellan and then into the sickbay aboard the USS Enterprise-D where they were treated by Doctor Beverly Crusher and Ensign Martinez. (TNG: "The Outcast")

There are two pilots who were played by three actresses. Tara Christie only appeared in the shuttle scene and was replaced by fellow background actress Mercedes in the sickbay scenes.

Soren's parents []

These parents of Soren were both pilots. Soren recalled flying with them before being able to walk. (TNG: "The Outcast")
