David Benjamin Tomlinson (born 14 August) [1] is an actor and writer who played Linus in the second through fifth seasons of Star Trek: Discovery. He also played several other roles (usually aliens in heavy prosthetic makeup) in Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Short Treks, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

Tomlinson's credits include the 2004 sports drama Miracle (with Kenneth Mitchell and Kenneth Welsh) and guest appearances on series such as Queer as Folk, Orphan Black (with Raven Dauda and Roger Cross), Conviction (with Merrin Dungey), Designated Survivor (with Zoe McLellan, Jake Epstein, Chelsea Harris, Etan Muskat, and Vanessa Smythe), Baroness Von Sketch Show (with Zarrin Darnell-Martin and Jamillah Ross), Grand Army (with Raven Dauda), and Murdoch Mysteries (with Clare McConnell).
