First Clerk Leeta

The First Clerk was the official title for the personal financial assistant to the Grand Nagus.

Grand Nagus Smeet and his First Clerk were both assassinated after a dramatic drop in the Ferengi Market Exchange.

Quark briefly held this position until Grand Nagus Zek fired him for spreading rumors about Zek's lover, Quark's own mother, Ishka. (DS9: "Ferengi Love Songs")

During Rom's rule as Grand Nagus, his wife, Leeta, held the title of First Clerk. (LD: "Parth Ferengi's Heart Place")

In the eBook novella Rules of Accusation. Zek's son Krax was Rom's First Clerk.
