The Fissure of Jorat was a geyser on the Akoszonam homeworld that featured steam exploding out and condensing into iridescent mist. It was relatively obscure and even most Akoszonam did not know of it.
In 3190, Federation President Laira Rillak spoke of the Fissure of Jorat to Commander Nalas while trying to convince him to stand down from his confrontation with Lieutenant Sylvia Tilly. She called the Fissure "breathtaking" and noted "there's nothing else like it in the cosmos." (DIS: "Kobayashi Maru")
