The Ford Motor Company was a manufacturer of cars and trucks for both civilian and military use, founded on Earth during the early 20th century by entrepreneur Henry Ford.
The Ford Model T was the first production model automobile of the 20th century; the Model A was the company's second production model. (TNG: "A Matter Of Time")
Ford was the manufacturing company responsible for building the 1936 Ford truck, like the one discovered in the Delta Quadrant. Upon viewing the truck, Tom Paris commented that "Ford was the name of the company that built it." (VOY: "The 37's")
In an alternate 1944 caused by the Temporal Cold War, German Ford Model 51 trucks were used as prisoner transports of, among others, Captain Jonathan Archer of the Enterprise NX-01, as well as Brooklyn citizens. (ENT: "Storm Front")
