Frédéric-François Chopin was a 19th century Polish composer and pianist.

In 2368, Matthew, a boy living in a Human colony on Moab IV played Chopin's Prelude Number 4 on the piano during a concert for the colonists and the visiting crew of the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "The Masterpiece Society")

In 2369, his Trio in G minor was performed on the USS Enterprise-D with Data at the violin, Ensign Cheney at the cello and Nella Daren at the piano. (TNG: "Lessons")

In 2375, when Tom Paris mentioned he was "orchestrating" the antimatter flow aboard the Varro generational ship, B'Elanna Torres suggested that he should try some Chopin when he was finished. (VOY: "The Disease")

Two of his other works, Barcarolle in F-sharp major and Nocturne in E minor, were played by Seven of Nine in 2378. (VOY: "Human Error")

The script of DS9: "Melora" describes Delvok's music as "Chopin meets Spock". [1]
