Francisco X. Perez (born 10 December 1951; age 73) is a makeup artist who worked on the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode "Violations". On one of the call sheets he is listed as Francisco Carassosa. In 1992 he received a BAFTA Film Award nomination in the category Best Make Up Artist for his work on Dances with Wolves (1990).
Pérez also worked as personal makeup artist for Kevin Costner on several other films including The Bodyguard (1992), A Perfect World (1993), Wyatt Earp (1994), The War (1994), Waterworld (1995), The Postman (1997), the romance Message in a Bottle (1999), Thirteen Days (2000), 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001), Dragonfly (2002), Open Range (2003), and Mr. Brooks (2007).
He also worked as makeup artist or makeup supervisor on Evilspeak (1981, with Allan A. Apone and Morton Greenspoon), Friday the 13th Part III (1982, with Allan A. Apone and Kenny Myers), Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn (1983), Prince of Darkness (1987, with Mark Shostrom), They Live (1988), Glory (1989), Rocky V (1990, with Katalin Elek, Zoltan Elek, and Michael Westmore), Brain Donors (1992), Con Air (1997, with Thomas R. Burman and Bari Burman), Enemy of the State (1998, with Dino Ganziano, Steve LaPorte, and Danny Valencia), Wishcraft (2002), Bad Santa (2003), Starsky & Hutch (2004, with Carolyn L. Elias, Kathrine Gordon, Shawn McKay, Carol A. O'Connell, and Erwin H. Kupitz), Jarhead (2005), J.J. He later worked as makeup department head on 21 Jump Street (2012, with Mike Smithson) and Parental Guidance (2012) and as makeup artist on Man of Steel (2013, with Veronica Lorenz).
