G'reck was a Klingon warrior who lived during the late 24th century, where he served as a lower decker aboard the IKS Che'Ta' before Nick Locarno talked him into mutinying against his captain, Ma'ah, and joining Nova Fleet.
In 2381, G'reck woke up then-bunkmate Ma'ah by punching him in the face, causing him to fall out of his hammock. He then joined T'im and Key'lor in teasing and punching Ma'ah about his use of the word "logical". (LD: "wej Duj")
Later on, G'reck fashioned himself a spear, which an annoyed Key'lor called a cowardly weapon used to stab foes from a distance, almost leading the two to blows before they discussed their assignments. G'reck was assigned to transcribe Commander Veckras' battle tales, which he considered a waste of time. They both bitterly blamed Ma'ah for "luck[ing] his way into the captain's chair" while forgetting about them. G'reck eagerly hinted that Ma'ah's captaincy would soon be coming to an end, shortly before they raced to the bridge when the Che'Ta' was apparently captured by Nova One. (LD: "Twovix")
G'reck briefly became captain of the ship after he and the crew betrayed Ma'ah and marooned him on Sherbal V. G'reck continued to patrol the system and shot down the Starfleet shuttlecraft containing Lieutenant junior grades Beckett Mariner, Brad Boimler, D'Vana Tendi, Sam Rutherford and T'Lyn after they came to repair the local space buoy, though the Starfleet officers were able to transport to the planet's surface. Later, after the Nova One departed the system with an abducted Mariner, G'reck ordered the Che'Ta' down to the surface in response to the distress signal beam broadcasted. Ignoring Key'lor's warning that the relay station was shielded by rock formation, G'reck brought his ship close to the ground to destroy the station, only to fall into Ma'ah's trap, as he and the other marooned officers boarded the Che'Ta'. G'reck was beaten to death as his former captain regained control of the ship. (LD: "The Inner Fight")
