Gail Strickland (born 18 May 1947; age 77) is the actress who played Alixus in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine second season episode "Paradise".

In 1973, Strickland won the Drama Desk Award in the Most Promising Performer category for her work in the play Status Quo Vadis.

She has played many notable roles on various television series including Night Court (with John Larroquette), HeartBeat (with Kate Mulgrew); Spenser: For Hire (with Avery Brooks), Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (with Chad Allen, Barbara Babcock, and Hélène Udy), and First Monday (with Stephen Markle, Camille Saviola, and Dean Stockwell)
