The Galileo was a space probe operated by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the late 1990s. This probe was sent to study Jupiter and its many moons, including Europa. Images taken by the probe of this moon revealed "diverse details" of its surface.
This probe was mentioned in the January 21, 2024 issue of the Los Angeles Times when describing the historical background for the Europa Mission. (PIC: "Watcher")
Months later, the probe was mentioned in the display "Could there be life on Europa?" seen at the gala for the mission's astronauts. (PIC: "Two of One")
