These five Bajoran Gallitep survivors gathered outside the security office on Deep Space 9 in 2369 while the Cardassian Aamin Marritza, posing as Gul Darhe'el, was held prisoner. They wore "dust-wraps" around their faces that prevented Bajoran laborers from being suffocated in the mines on Gallitep. They arrived after word had been received that Darhe'el, the commandant of the camp, had been arrested. Quark asked Odo if he knew if they would gamble. According to Kira, "The survivors of Gallitep have always been a symbol to us of strength and courage." (DS9: "Duet")
