Background information[]
The Star Trek: Enterprise fourth season episode "In a Mirror, Darkly, Part II" revealed this sector reference, as well as the planet's name, in text appearing in Jonathan Archer's personnel file. A more detailed look at the original production artwork can be viewed on the Twitter timeline of the episode's writer, Michael Sussman.[1]
Gamma Trianguli system was canonically located in the Alpha Quadrant in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds episode "Strange New Worlds".
Apocrypha[]
In the non-canon comic book "Paradise Lost!", Gamma Trianguli's sector was referred to as "sector 18".
