General Garkog was a Klingon who served as an officer in the Klingon Defense Force during the mid-23rd century. He belonged to the same Great House as Captain D'Chok.
In 2259, Garkog was in command of a K't'inga-class battle cruiser that was affected by a quantum uncertainty field, accidentally created by the USS Enterprise at a subspace fold, that caused him and his crew to sing and dance as though they were in a musical.
Seeking out the "abominable source of [their] dishonor," Garkog informed Captain Christopher Pike of his intention to destroy the fold. Since this would have also destroyed everything affected by the uncertainty field, the Enterprise crew sought to collapse the fold first by singing in unison. Garkog's ship arrived in time for him and his bridge crew to unwillingly participate in this act. Afterwards, Lieutenant Spock managed to smooth over the matter with him via the application of alcohol. (SNW: "Subspace Rhapsody")
Garkog was played by Bruce Horak.
Garkog wore a sash with the emblem of an unidentified Great House, previously worn by one of the Klingon High Council members in DIS: "Point of Light" and by D'Chok in SNW: "The Broken Circle".
