Garrik Palumbo is a stuntman and actor who served as additional stand-in for Simon Pegg on Star Trek.
Palumbo's studies in martial arts began at an early age when he trained with his father. Beside several martial arts styles and stunt skills, he is a skilled acrobat and recently studied under stuntman Gene LeBell. He has worked on several live shows and stage performances in Florida and Los Angeles as well as in music videos and television commercials.
On screen, Palumbo performed stunts and had supporting parts in the action film Extreme Force (2001), the horror film Museum of the Dead (2004, with Morgan H. Margolis and Dawn Drake), Glory Road (2006, along stuntman Chester E. Tripp III under stunt coordinator Phil O'Dell), Valley of the Wolves: Iraq (2006, with Spencer Garrett), and more recently in Street Racer (2008) and the science fiction film Repeat Offenders (2009, with Kimberly Arland and James Black). In addition he served as stunt coordinator on the short comedy The Infamous Buddy Blade (2008) and was responsible for the stunt safety on Live Evil (2008, with stunts by Alina Andrei).
Palumbo's other credits include as assistant script supervisor on the television comedy Campus Confidential (2005, with Thomas Dekker), as carpenter on Failure to Launch (2006) and the thriller All the King's Men (2006), as assistant editor and script supervisor on the horror thriller The Father (2008, with Robert Miano and Scott L. Schwartz), and in the camera department on the action film Taken by Force (2008, with Branscombe Richmond, Ed Lauter, James Lew, Lauren Kim, Dan Woren, Joe Davis, and stunts by Jeff Pruitt and Lin Oeding).
