Gemaris V was the inhabited fifth planet of its star system. This planet was the homeworld of the Gemarians.
The planet was visited by the USS Enterprise-D in 2366, where Captain Picard was needed as a mediator. After two weeks, he successfully negotiated a trade agreement between the Gemarians and the Dachlyds. (TNG: "Captain's Holiday")
This planet was only mentioned in dialogue.
