George Antzoulides is a visual effects artist who is working since February 2015 as Previsualization Artist for the company Proof Inc. on the 2016 sequel Star Trek Beyond, directed by Justin Lin. [1]

Born an raised in Hicksville, New York, Antzoulides attended the Pratt Institute between 1994 and 1998 and graduated with BFA in Painting and Art Education. He moved to San Francisco in 2002 where he studied at the Academy of Art University and graduated with an MFA in Character Animation in 2006. [2]

Among his early work as animator was the short live action film Cast Shadows in 2005 as well as the video games Death Jr. (2006), Dead Head Fred (2006), Lord of the Rings: Conquest (2008), and The Saboteur (2009). He also received special thanks in the end credits of the animated short Pinched in 2010.

As previzs artist he worked for Digital Domain on the comic adaptation Thor (2011, starring Chris Hemsworth) and for The Third Floor on the sequel Iron Man 3 (2013).

For Proof Inc., Antzoudiles worked on the animated film Hop (2011), the science fiction/horror film The Thing (2011), the comic adaptations X-Men: First Class (2011, with Glenn Morshower and Ray Wise and produced by Stan Lee and Bryan Singer) and The Amazing Spider-Man (2012, produced by Stan Lee and music by James Horner), the science fiction film R.I.P.D. (2013, with Robert Knepper), and the sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014).

Antzoulidas also worked on the three action sequels Fast Five (2011), Furious 6 (2013), and Furious Seven (2015). The first two were directed by Justin Lin, the fifth and seventh had music by Brian Tyler, and all three are starring Dwayne Johnson, cinematography by Stephen F. Windon, and costume design by Sanja Milkovic Hays.
