Gintak spear

A gin'tak spear was a hand-weapon, a spear used by Klingons.

A pair of crossed gin'tak spears, with short handles, adorned one wall of Kurn's ready room aboard the IKS Hegh'ta in 2367. (TNG: "Redemption")

In the Romulan prison-camp on Carraya IV in 2369, the Klingon Toq used a gin'tak spear as a garden tool, about which Worf was extremely furious. Worf later taught Toq that a gin'tak spear was used for battle, not farm work. (TNG: "Birthright, Part II")

It was unknown what the connection between this weapon and the Klingon title gin'tak was.
Gin'tak was described as a Klingon battle spear in the script. Furthermore, the pronunciation of gin'tak was given as "gin-TAWK (hard G as in go)". [1]
