Gina Chai is an actress who served as stand-in for Linda Park on the first season of Star Trek: Enterprise. Chai received no credit but was featured in behind the scenes material of the specials "Creating Enterprise" and "O Captain! My Captain! A Profile of Scott Bakula" on the ENT Season 1 DVD. In addition, Chai appeared as a Human civilian in the crowd in the pilot episode "Broken Bow".
Chai earned her B.A. in Journalism from the New York University and worked as reporter for the NY Sports Report on NY Ch. 1 News. She has performed in several stage plays in San Francisco and Los Angeles and appeared in independent and short films such as Waiting, Housewarming, 17 Years to Earth, and Til Death Do Us Part.
She had supporting roles in Sugar: The Fall of the West (1998, with Michael McKean), Devotion, American Born, and Pacemaker.
Chai was featured in episodes of The Practice (2001, with Eve H. Brenner, Lisa Chess, Adam Clark, Clyde Kusatsu, Alan Oppenheimer, and Bill Smitrovich), Shark (2006, starring Jeri Ryan, with Ned Vaughn, and Clyde Kusatsu), and Ghost Whisperer (2008, with Raphael Sbarge, Molly Hagan, and Rif Hutton).
