Admiral Gorch was a male Tellarite Starfleet flag officer in the mid-23rd century. (DIS: "The War Without, The War Within", "Will You Take My Hand?")
Following the near-defeat of the United Federation of Planets in the Federation-Klingon War, Gorch was among Admiral Katrina Cornwell's retinue. When the USS Discovery returned from the mirror universe, Gorch, together with Shukar, boarded the ship and secured the bridge before Cornwell and Ambassador Sarek transported aboard. After the cessation of hostilities, Gorch was present in Paris on Earth when the crew of the Discovery was honored for their role in ending the war. (DIS: "Will You Take My Hand?")

Gorch was played by actor Harry Judge. Gorch was the first Tellarite Starfleet officer to appear on screen. The prime universe Gorch appeared on screen only after his mirror universe counterpart.
Judge also played the unnamed Tellarite admiral in "If Memory Serves". The actor confirmed on social media that this was intended to be a different character.[1]
