Admiral Gorch was a male Tellarite Starfleet flag officer in the mid-23rd century. (DIS: "The War Without, The War Within", "Will You Take My Hand?")

Following the near-defeat of the United Federation of Planets in the Federation-Klingon War, Gorch was among Vice Admiral Katrina Cornwell's retinue. When the USS Discovery returned from the mirror universe, Gorch, together with Shukar, boarded the ship and secured the bridge before Cornwell and Ambassador Sarek transported aboard. (DIS: "The War Without, The War Within")

After the cessation of hostilities, Gorch was present in Paris on Earth when the crew of the Discovery was honored for their role in ending the war. (DIS: "Will You Take My Hand?")
