Gordon Clapp (born 24 September 1948; age 75) played Hadran in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine first season episode "Vortex". His costume was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]

He is perhaps best known for his role as Detective Greg Medavoy on NYPD Blue, whom he played for eleven years, earning an Emmy nomination for the role in 1994 and a win in 1998. His co-stars on the show included Sharon Lawrence and Michael Buchman Silver. He was previously married to Star Trek: The Next Generation guest star Deborah Taylor, who also played his ex-wife on NYPD Blue.

In the same year as his Star Trek appearance, Clapp guest-starred in Cheers, with Kirstie Alley and Kelsey Grammer and guest starring Deirdre L. Imershein and Keene Curtis.

Since the end of NYPD Blue, Clapp has made guest appearances in episodes of Without a Trace (which stars Enrique Murciano), Deadwood (with Jim Beaver, Brad Dourif, Leon Rippy, Paula Malcomson, Titus Welliver, Keone Young, and Zach Grenier), Monk (with Stanley Kamel and Juliana Donald), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (with Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey), Damages (with Michael Nouri), Ghost Whisperer (with Michael Reilly Burke and Melinda Page Hamilton), and Cold Case (with John Pyper-Ferguson and Maury Sterling). He has also starred in the films Trailer Talk (with Ron Canada) and Flags of Our Fathers (2006, with Neal McDonough, Len Cariou and David Clennon). Clapp's next film project is The Golden Door.
