Granite wall

Granite, with a mixture of Pyroclastic infusions

Granite was a coarse-grained igneous rock that made up most of the landmasses on Earth.

The underground complex on the Shore Leave Planet was hidden beneath a shield of granite and metal alloy, which the sensors of the USS Enterprise were unable to penetrate by 2269. (TAS: "Once Upon a Planet")

In 2367, the headquarters of the Turkana IV Alliance was located beneath two kilometers of solid granite, which prevented the use of transporters. (TNG: "Legacy")

In 2369, a sheer granite cliff, five hundred meters deep, was located in a cave, which gave access to a Cardassian base. A Starfleet team infiltrating the base therefore had to use fusing pitons to rappel down. (TNG: "Chain of Command, Part I")

In 2371, the underground Vidiian base on Avery III was only accessible through tunnels, disguised by force fields as granite walls more than fifty meters thick. (VOY: "Faces")

In 2373, the walls of a cave containing a Garan mining colony consisted of granite mixed with pyroclastic infusions. (VOY: "Macrocosm")
