Granville Ames (born 22 April 1955; age 69) is an actor who portrayed the Transporter Chief in Star Trek Generations.
Among his acting resume are films such as Uncle Buck (1989, with Jay Underwood, Mike Starr, Dennis Cockrum, Jack Blessing, and stunts by Manny Perry), Tainted Love (1995), Road Ends (1997, with Chris Sarandon, Bert Remsen, Brad Blaisdell, Steve Larson, and stunts by Paul E. Short), The 4th Tenor (2002, with Hamilton Camp, Richard Libertini, Vincent Schiavelli, Don Stark, Patrick Cupo, and stunts by Dennis Madalone, Mark De Alessandro, Andy Gill, Gene LeBell, and Spiro Razatos), and Deadly Swarm (2003, with J. Patrick McCormack).
More recently, Ames' guest starred in television series such as Hunter (1986, with Ray Wise), Moonlighting (1989, with Virginia Madsen), Tales from the Crypt (1993, with John Kassir), L.A.
