Booker's ship firing a gravimetric beam
A gravimetric beam was a form of energy beam.
In 3190, Doctor Ruon Tarka fired a gravimetric beam from Booker's ship to extract the power source of Species 10-C's hyperfield from its silicon-ellanium alloy casement. In attempting to stop him, Lieutenant Commander Nilsson on the USS Discovery noted that they could not use a tractor beam to pull the ship away while the gravimetric beam was active, or they risked destroying the hyperfield themselves. Ultimately, the beam was severed when General Diatta Ndoye rammed a Discovery shuttle into Booker's ship. (DIS: "Coming Home")
