Grazer was first depicted in Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I", "United Federation of Planets III") and the Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"). It was likely intended to be the homeworld of the Grazerites. The planet was located in the Grazer system, an Alpha Quadrant quaternary system with stars of classes F, M, K, and G.
