Greg W. Papalia is a set designer and art director who worked as set designer on the Star Trek: The Next Generation pilot episode "Encounter at Farpoint".

Papalia's other credits as set designer include the science fiction thriller 2010 (1984, with Gregory Pickrell and William Ladd Skinner), the horror sequel Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986), the drama Nuts (1987), the fantasy sequel Ghostbusters II (1989), the horror comedy Gremlins II: The New Batch (1990), the crime drama One Good Cop (1991, with Richard McKenzie), the romance Legends of the Fall (1994), the war drama The Patriot (2000), the crime thriller The Italian Job (2003), the fantasy comedy The Haunted Mansion (2003), the science fiction thriller Transformers (2007), and the television series Glee (2009).

He also worked as assistant art director on the science fiction drama Late for Dinner (1991), the comedy Father of the Bride (1991), the romance Honeymoon in Vegas (1992), and the fantasy film Casper (1995).

More notable, Papalia was the art director on the comedy Hot Shots! (1991) and its sequel Hot Shots! Part Deux (1993), the comedy sequel Father of the Bride Part II (1995), the comedy The Nutty Professor (1996), the comedy Doctor Doolittle (1998, with set designer Easton Michael Smith), the comedy sequel Nutty Professor II: The Klumps (2000), the sequel Jurassic Park III (2001), the fantasy adventure The Scorpion King (2002, starring The Rock), the comic adaptation Hulk (2003), the remake Starsky & Hutch (2004), the action comedy Rush Hour 3 (2007), the adventure Beowulf (2007), the science fiction film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), and the remake The Green Hornet (2011).
