Hélène Cardona is a poet, actress and voice actress, who provided the voice of a Discovery engineer in the Star Trek: Discovery second season episodes "New Eden" and "An Obol for Charon" (speaking her native French in the latter episode), and the voice of a doctor in the Star Trek: Picard first season episode "Maps and Legends". She was uncredited for her roles.

Born in Paris, France to a Spanish father (poet José Manuel Cardona) and a Greek mother, Cardona was raised all over Europe, and received several degrees in Literature and Languages. She is the citizen of France, Spain and the United States, and speaks English, French, Spanish, German, Greek and Italian. She had worked as a translator for the US Canadian Embassy, the French Chamber of Commerce and works as a translator and language coach for the film and music industry. She has released seven books of poetry and also translated the works of her father to English, as well as Walt Whitman's Civil War writings to French.

She is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, and also trained at the Actors' Studio (New York). Her film credits include Léon (1994), Quiz Show (1994, with David Paymer, Paul Guilfoyle, Christopher McDonald, and Jeffrey Nordling), Chocolat (2000), and A Good Year (2006). She provided voices for films such as Ronin (1998), What Dreams May Come (1998, starring Robin Williams, with Rosalind Chao, based on a novel by Richard Matheson), Timeline (2003, with Neal McDonough and Stephen Liska), Big Fish (2003), The Terminal (2004, starring Tom Hanks, with Zoë Saldana and Michael Nouri), The Bourne Supremacy (2004, starring Matt Damon, with Karl Urban), Rush Hour 3 (2007), Inglorious Basterds (2009), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009, with Rachel Nichols and Ryan T.
