Hal Landon, Jr. (born 23 May 1941; age 83) played Praetor Neral in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine seventh season episode "Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges".
Landon's first role was the pencil machine operator in Eraserhead (1977). He is probably best known for playing Captain Logan, Ted "Theodore" Logan's father, in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (with Bernie Casey, Dan Shor, Jane Wiedlin, J. Patrick McNamara and Rod Loomis) and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, which also starred Deep Space Nine guest star William Sadler. He reprised his role in Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020), also starring Sadler. In Break Up (1998), he starred with Steven Weber, Michael G. Hagerty, and Jack Shearer.
Landon once guest-starred in Live Shot. Other Star Trek stars who were cast members include David Birney, Karen Austin, Ron Canada, Jeff Yagher, Bruce McGill, and Sam Anderson.
