Haley Joel Osment (born 10 April 1988; age 36) is the American actor who voiced Lieutenant jg O'Connor in the Star Trek: Lower Decks first season episode "Moist Vessel".
Osment gained fame as a child actor in the 1990s. He played the titular character's son in Forrest Gump (1994, starring Tom Hanks, with Michael Jace and Geoffrey Blake), and The Sixth Sense (1999). He also starred in Pay It Forward (2000, with Tina Lifford and Tim de Zarn) and A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001, co-starring Jude Law, with Matt Winston, Paula Malcomson, April Grace, John Prosky, Tim Rigby, Michael Shamus Wiles, James W. Jansen, Eliza Coleman, Miguel Perez, and Matt Malloy).
He also had guest roles in Walker, Texas Ranger (starring Clarence Gilyard, Jr. and Noble Willingham), Chicago Hope (starring Jayne Brook), Touched by an Angel and Ally McBeal (with Mary Mara, Randy Oglesby, and Gary Graham).
As an adult, Osment appeared in films such as I'll Follow You Down (2013, with Izaak Smith), Tusk (2014), Sex Ed (2014), Entourage (2015, with George Takei), Almost Friends (2016), and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019).
He is also an accomplished voice actor. He lent his voice to animated movies like The Hunchback of Notre Dame II (2002, with Jason Alexander, Michael McKean, Frank Welker, and Ike Eisenmann) and The Jungle Book 2 (2003, with Tony Jay, John Rhys-Davies, Jess Harnell, and Jimmy Bennett), and series such as Hey, Arnold! (with Michael McKean), Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (with Ricardo Montalban and Kevin Michael Richardson), and Seth MacFarlane's Family Guy and American Dad! (with Wendy Schaal, Scott Grimes, and Patrick Stewart). He can also be heard in numerous video games, most notably the Kingdom Hearts series (with Robert Costanzo, Brian George, Jess Harnell, Kenneth Mars, Kevin Michael Richardson, Chris Sarandon, David Ogden Stiers, Jimmy Bennett, and Frank Welker).
